Medisportz Stop Bleeding Gel has found to be an effective adjunct to both first aid and minor repairs, as well as in surgery and recovery. It creates no stimulation of the wound or surrounding skin, no cell toxicity and no side effects. It seals to the wound and rapidly staunches bleeding, then slowly dissolves. Medisportz Stop Bleeding Gel can quickly absorb water of exudates from wound surface to form viscous gel.

It is effective in immediate homeostasis, protecting wound site and accelerating healing for trauma and post operational wound. Ideal for sporting injuries, first aid packs, under stitches and in hollows and sockets after surgery.

Component: Medisportz Stop bleeding gel is a light soft textile knitted fabric. Its main component is sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, which is derived from natural plant.

Mechanism: The homeostasis is achieved by three effective haemostatic actions:

  1. Stop bleeding by sealing blood vein
  2. Encourage platelet aggregation, release related coagulation factors to form micro-thrombus
  3. Activate coagulation system to form infusibility fibrin us multimer
  4. The gel provides a moist wound environment upon dissolving, which avoids adhering.

The gauze is sterilized by gamma radiation.  Keep sealed until required and do not use any contained in damaged or broken packaging. The product has strong water absorbent properties so avoid touching with water. Arterial flow should be ligatured before application.

To use:
Clean blood from the wound area.
Select the appropriate size of gauze and place directly on the surface of the wound - press lightly. Do not move the gauze -. If there is a large amount of bleeding, multiple layers can be applied. Leave in place.
